Running is the simplest, purest form of exercise. That stated, running injuries are far too common an occurrence. Typical running injuries are overuse, biomechanical flaws and/or strength imbalances.
The most common running injuries we encounter are foot, calf and hip pain. To fully address a runners symptoms, a complete orthopedic exam, running gait analysis, and strength and range of motion assessment is performed on all of our running patients. When treated with a combined approach of Active Release Technique, stretching and strengthening exercises, most running injuries resolve quickly and completely.
